Who is PDS HMI Solutions Corp. and what do we stand for?
We are the North American subsidiary of Printec-DS, a German HMI manufacturer founded in 1983. We stand for Made in Germany quality, precision and reliability, combine integrated development and production with strong regional support, and build sustainable HMI solutions for industrial customers.

Which products do you offer?
Our portfolio includes plastic, stainless-steel and silicone keyboards, membrane keyboards, trackballs, touchpads, capacitive systems, rugged HMIs and customized control panels.
How do your backlit industrial keyboards differ from others?
Dedicated, dimmable LEDs illuminate individual keys. The designs combine clear visibility with rugged construction and protection for demanding industrial environments.
Can I also request custom solutions?
Yes. We develop tailored HMI solutions from the initial concept and prototypes through series production, with materials and construction selected for the required environment.
Do you also produce small series or individual items?
Yes. Project scope, quantities and production requirements are assessed individually so that prototypes, small series and repeat production can be supported.

Quality is supported by a certified quality system, documented processes, testing, audits and Lean principles focused on stable flow, prevention and reliable long-term operation.
Do you offer waterproof or vandal proof keyboards?
Selected keyboard families are available with high IP and IK protection, including solutions developed for demanding, wet or vandal-prone environments. Marine applications can use IEC 60945-certified silicone solutions where applicable.
What does “Engineered in Germany” mean for your products?
It refers to the core engineering, product development, production knowledge and testing behind the solutions: German precision, reliability and long-term experience.
